My version of the Pancake Pickup.  Another beautiful Rowe Industries pickup, this one was made for Kay Musical Instrument Company.  This pickup was found on models like the  Vanguard, and Value Leader.  I love its simple yet elegant design and amazing tone.    As with all my pickups they are hand made in house by me and my team.. I use high quality parts and materials made, exclusively for me, to vintage specs.

An added benefit over a vintage pickup is mine are guaranteed to work and sound great.  Many vintage pickups have been found in a junk drawer and repaired by people that do not really know these pickups.  I also build mine with 2 conductor wire with an independent ground so you can easily reverse the wires to be in phase with what ever you pair it with.  I can also build them to your personal needs, and are not microphonic, unless that is what you want.

I make a Bass version of this pickup that really sounds amazing.  Best suited for the neck position or a narrow string spacing.

I also been horsing round with shoehorning my very popular GTx humbucker in this little beauty.  With the pickup being a scant 8.3mm tall it allows the ability to surface mount a humbucker, with a clean Fender like tone in a Tele neck position with no mods to the body!!  Yeah I said that!
